Dr. Henry N Jenkins Jr completed his undergraduate studies at South Carolina State University earned a B.S. in Biology/Biology Education in Orangeburg South Carolina. He then matriculated to Life University in Marietta, Georgia where he attained his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2007. As a student intern, Dr. Jenkins learned and applied the techniques of Diversified, SOT, Thompson, Applied Kinesiology, Activator Methods and Extremity Adjusting.

Since graduation, Dr. Jenkins obtained additional certifications. He is a certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner; certified in Kennedy Decompression Technique, Summus Medical Laser Certification and a National Spinal Decompression Certification by the International Medical Advisory Board for Spinal Decompression.

Dr. Jenkins has worked diligently in Washington DC since 2012 to build Paradigm Chiropractic into an office that has been able to work and volunteer with Veteran Chiropractic Care through the Community Care Program with the Veterans through the VACCN, DCPS Educators and both federal and local government employees.

Dr. Henry Jenkins has also had the opportunity to work with several professional athletes, the Archbishop Carroll High School Track Team in Washington DC, Korean Cultural Center Dancers, professional performance artist and endurance sport athletes such as powerlifters, marathoners, Ironmen and triathletes.

In 2017, Dr. Jenkins began a quest to provide specialized care for patients suffering from both cervical and lumbar back problems. He is certified in both nonsurgical Spinal Decompression and Class IV medical Laser by Summus Medical. These treatment options allow Dr. Jenkins to provide specialized care for patients suffering from both cervical and lumbar disc herniations, spinal stenosis, neuropathy and degenerative changes to the disc and vertebra. Through the professional affiliation with the Disc Centers of America (DCOA), The DCOA-DMV will be able provide a higher level of decompression service as a Disc Specialist to service DC metro area.

Dr. Henry Jenkins, Jr and his wife, April, have worked and resided in the area for over 15 years . Together, they two amazing children, Mason aged 9 and Marah aged 7.
